Feeling slightly squashed and very harassed, Maggie escaped the apologetic clutches of the sweaty behemoth and boarded her bus. Four pages in, however, Maggie nearly suffocated under the mass of a four-hundred pound man who had mistaken the bench Maggie sat in as empty.

Maggie found her place, cracked open her volume of Dune by Frank Herbert, and started to read. Maggie reached her bus stop at nine thirty, just enough time to read a few pages of her new book while she waited for the bus. Being the late sleeper that she is, Maggie ran off to her Psychology class without eating breakfast. Maggie woke up with a slight headache, but otherwise, nothing was out of the ordinary.
It all began this morning of September twenty-ninth in the year two thousand nine of our Common Era. To begin the celebration of her woefully short, yet fun-filled life, we must also look at the circumstances surrounding her death.
